ABOUT RINUS BRITS TOWN PLANNING SOLUTIONS
The firm was established in 2003 and has since been consulting with a diversity of clients in obtaining land use rights through rezoning (amendment of land use schemes) and Township Establishment all over Gauteng, as well as in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West Province.We generally work in a team of professionals. The teams vary depending on the type of application being dealt with. It mostly consists of Civil Engineers, Traffic Engineers Electrical Engineers, Architects, Environmentalist, Attorneys and Land Surveyors.
These professionals are instrumental in determining areas suitable for development, the provision of engineering services and the overall feasibility of a proposed development.
The firm has supported various young students in starting their careers in Town Planning approximately 18 young planners have gained experience at the firm before moving on to various local authorities and other institutions.

Education:- Bachelor of Town and Regional Planning (University of Pretoria 1992)
- Diploma in Project Management 1995 Experience
- Advisor at the Provincial Townships Board 1993 to 1995
- Partner at Attwell Malhrbe Town Regional planners 1995 to 1996
- Co-founded AMI Town Regional Planners Inc 1996 to 2003
- Founded Rinus Brits Town Planning Solutions which he is a sole proprietor (2003 – Present) Rinus has a total of 29 years of experience in the field
